Jutka Freiman will address the possibility of there being 3 significant types in the individuals structure which have discreet functions independent of context. She will draw from Ocar Ichazo’s Trifix model & the Jungian principals of the ‘ Masculine’ or Yang energy & the ‘ Feminine’ or Yin energy.

Oscar Ichazo works with the Trifix suggests that the individual has one type in each of the 3 centres of intelligence. Knowing your Trifix gives the individual more information about their fixations than the lines of connection. In the Trifix model there is still 1 primary type & 2 secondary types.

Resources for World Enneagram Day

We have just added some resources on the World Enneagram Day (WED) page to help you with your event. They include a checklist to help you organize an event and a meditation that we encourage everyone to use on World Enneagram Day. these resources join Tato Gomez's WED music, already available on the page.

You can also add your event to the WED map of events here on www.mapme.com. If you're not used to the site, the following steps will help to guide you to putting your event on the map:

Click the big covering sheet away, so that you see the map.
On the left-hand side, click on “suggest locations”. This puts you in edit mode.
Click on “Add hotspot”.
On the “Create new hotspot” sheet (covering the map) change the icon selection from “miscellaneous” to “standard”. The icons now change from blue to saffron.
Click on the left-most one.
Now type in the address of your location in the “Search for a location” box
Then you add in a title, description, category, link to a web site, if there’s additional info elsewhere.
Hit "submit".

Is creating awareness of the Enneagram, promoting our local Enneagram communities and building the Australian community.

Here's how we plan to do it...

In 2008 a group of Enneagram teachers and enthusiasts formed the International Enneagram Association - Australia (Affiliate).

Our focus (or the 4 Cs as we like to call it) is to:

· Create awareness of the numerous Enneagram communities across Australia, their events, conferences and activities

· Connect you with these communities (via informal and formal events, presentations, and meetings)

· Connect you with like-minded people

· Cross boundaries (regional, community, and industry)

ABOUT THE IEA-USA
In 1994 a group of Enneagram teachers and enthusiasts met at Stanford University and formed the International Enneagram Association. Since its inception, the IEA has been committed to furthering the theory and ethical application of the Enneagram. The organization has grown with chapters being founded throughout the United States and affiliates throughout the world. With the growth has come the recognition that the IEA had truly become a global organization and that the United States chapters and members should become the affiliate IEA-USA. So here we are!

Our vision: We envision our nation as one in which the Enneagram is widely understood and constructively used. We envision our nation’s positive contribution to the growth and development of the use of the Enneagram on a worldwide basis.

Our mission is to provide a nationwide hub for the sharing of all developments in the theory and ethical application of the Enneagram, and to support the efforts, future development, and success of IEA – Global.

The IEA – USA has designated a Board of Directors with the immediate goals of enhancing our membership’s value, increasing member involvement and communications channels with opportunities to connect via the IEA website, Facebook, and ning sites, and ultimately to continue to increase USA membership.

IEA in your Native Tongue!

Do you speak a primary language other than English?

While we currently use English as our primary language, we are an INTERNATIONAL organization - and as such it is incumbent upon the IEA to provide at least some degree of access to all peoples of the world.

To this end, the IEA is pleased to announce that you can now use Google Translation services to read the IEA website in languages other than English.

Please note: These translations are not perfect; they are subject to the imperfect translation ability that technology currently offers.
